On December 4, 2023, the main contractor TPSK of package A2 on Long Son Project cooperated with PST Vung Tau Safety Training Co., Ltd. to organize a training course and issue certificates for Overhead Crane Operator training course.
The training program took place in 5 days from 04-08/12/2023 with training contents:
Introduction, Types of Overhead Cranes, Causes of Crane-related Injuries, Crane Related Incident Facts, Industry Standards and Local Regulations, Overhead Crane Operations and Responsibilities, Crane Owners, Site Supervision, Operators, Getting to Know the Overhead Crane, Lifting and Moving, Basic of Rigging, Communication and Signaling, Active Lift Control, Controlling Crane Hazards, Electrical Hazards, Caught In, Compression or Crushing, Inspection Types, Records, Requirements and Training
At the end of the training program, all participants who are TPSK employees completed and received certificates of Overhead Crane Operator. The course has equipped the necessary skills and experience for TPSK staff to better serve their work and subsequent projects.
